Oddly, the series finale TV-movie is available. Given the 80s “DuckTales” never had a final DVD box set release to complete its run, at least it’s finally all available on home video. However, the original 80s series and its theatrical film are present. The direct-to-video sequels are on Disney+, however. The original 1987 movie isn’t present oddly, its two sequels are on Disney+. Also not on Disney+ are the “Mickey’s Magical Christmas” and “House of Villains” specials. Given this is based on a licensed property (and wasn’t as popular as fellow 80s licensed property show “Gummi Bears”), maybe that’s an issue?

Of course, what’s abuzz online is what’s not being included on Disney+ at launch.

Broadly, most of the classic Disney, Pixar, and Marvel material is available, as well as the classic “Disney Afternoon” lineup of shows.
